Strong emphasis on health systems strengthening, community engagement, and reaching underserved populations.
Ongoing grant management, performance monitoring, technical assistance, and periodic reviews. Local Fund Agent provides independent oversight. Iterative process for grant modifications and reprogramming.
NOT a startup or SME funder — only governments/CCMs can apply; Extremely complex application process designed for national-level programs; Individual organizations cannot access funds directly; must be selected as Principal or Sub-Recipient by the CCM
If you are an NGO or organization wanting to access Global Fund resources, engage with your country's CCM and position yourself as a potential Sub-Recipient or service provider to a Principal Recipient. The Global Fund does not accept direct applications from organizations.
