Strong emphasis on ventures that can demonstrate real impact on smallholder farmers, food systems transformation, and community livelihoods.
Generation Africa Fellowship program providing ongoing mentorship, stakeholder connections, scholarship to Master of Business Creation (David Eccles School of Business), continued access to the GoGettaz community of 17,500+ agripreneurs, and visibility through Generation Africa's platform and partners.
The competition explicitly reserves one grand prize for a female agripreneur and one for a male — there is no competing against the entire pool for one prize. Impact Awards ($60K+) are separate from grand prizes, so strong impact narratives across the five categories (Tech, Nutrition, Climate, Gender, Jobs) give you additional shots at winning. Align your application with one specific Impact Award category. Applications are accepted in French as well as English — apply in whichever language you tell your story best.
